I can’t help it, I love a theme! Pretty little Easter desserts perfect for Spring, are always a favorite for me so I’m thrilled when a client comes up with a seasonally themed product or recipe that needs a stylist’s touch. Here are a few of my faves from years past.
If I’m honest I have to say that I never have as much time or patience to go into the zen place required for seriously camera perfect decorating when I’m at home. I am always on the look out for fun things to do in the kitchen with a 3 year old that won’t make either of us end up in a puddle of tears.
Here’s a great one!!! Use a simple silicone mold like this one and compound chocolate or candy melts to create your very own chocolate bunnies. This is definitely easy enough for me and my son to do together and he gets a real kick out of making his very own bunny. Using the same type of mold you can even go a step EASIER and create gelatin gigglers in line with the spring theme.
My son is obsessed with watching people make things out of jello on youtube lately, so I think we’ll try this over the weekend. Weird, right? Gotta be the son of a food stylist!
