Hudson Workshops is a photography and food styling team with over 30 years of combined experience-

Sienna DeGovia is a sculptor who’s medium is food.   Sienna has a BFA in sculpture from the California College of the Arts in San Francisco.  Her obsession with the aesthetics of food began at CCA where she created a giant cake one could crawl into for her senior show.  15 years later she is a much sought after food stylist for film, tv and print.  Sienna approaches food as three dimensional art, and her food styling kit contains just as many art supplies as cooking tools! From highly decorated baked goods for the country’s biggest bakeware manufacturers to period specific meals for the set of Mad Men to a giant cake of dancing lady legs for Lena Dunham to pop out of.  No job is too challenging or too bizarre.  See Sienna’s portfolios here and here.

Renee has been mentally framing the spinning world around her into still images since she was a young girl, but didn’t know she would call herself a photographer until she took her first course in college.  She started shooting street scenes and people, then moved into the music scene and spent her younger years in clubs and recording studios.  After attending Brooks Inst., majoring in Illustrative Photography, she began shooting commercially in St. Louis, Mo.  Deciding she wanted to work in a larger market, she moved to Los Angeles and started shooting still life and food and now specializes in both.  She works with clients and agencies in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles, specializing in packaging, advertising, editorial, & cookbooks.  She owns and operates Historic Hudson Studios, photo studio of the renowned late photographer Herb Ritts.   It is both her own inspiring place to shoot, and rents as a boutique rental studio.  See Renee’s portfolio here.
